Nomination Process and Forms
Candidates are nominated by their state agencies to attend the academy. Candidates must be nominated by their executive directors or chief fiscal officers using the TFOA Nomination Form by Nov. 18, 2011.
Nominees for this academy should have at least two to five years experience with the state as accountants, auditors, economists, budget officers, purchasing or similar financial management positions.
In addition, nominees should display an interest and aptitude for leadership and management. The TFOA Steering Committee will select approximately 30 students to attend the training course. CPE credit is given to participants for course attendance.

— Due Nov. 18, 2011The Texas Fiscal Officers’ Academy Steering Committee congratulates the members of the 2012 class.
The fee for the course is $300 and is to be paid in full to the Legislative Budget Board no later than Feb. 3, 2012. Failure to pay tuition in full by this date can cause you to be dropped from the course.
Payment will be made via RTI (#096968), VID #31041041042000. The email notification you should have received serves as the invoice. Please email karen.veriato@lbb.state.tx.us with questions about payment.
